Hello!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend so far?! Spring has hit Bavaria at last and all i can smell are Lilacs and our neighbour's lime trees!  A few years back the groundskeeper was assigned to plant loads of lilac trees and wow are they bursting with scent...amazing...it should be bottled. haha I just LOVE Spring and the colourful and scented blooms coming out and am reminded of why it is one of my favourite times of the year....even though i suffer badly from hey fever...but it is worth it!

Talking of Spring projects, i have shortly completed a new painting/illustration for The Enchanted Visions Project with the theme: "Enchanted Visions". I wanted to combine nature8 i.e. floral or botanical with wild life and the fantasy element, so I decided to paint some of my favourite things for my favourite time of year. A fairy, a deer and a bluebell wood. Build me a gingerbread cottage in a bluebell wood with fairies to tend my plants and i would be a the happiest person.
