One of my earlier pieces where I was experimenting with watercolour washes and salt effects! I could picture a dark wild forest with magical creatures so I scratched the faeries out, using an exacto knife. The foreground was added later.I was pleased with the results as this was a totally unplanned piece...and planning is usually very essential when using watercolours!

Watercolours on water colour paper(approx A4)

Actually, it was my mother who names this piece...maybe she heard this piece of music you mentioned...her mother and sister were keen piana players! :)

very cool, but i dissagree that planning is essential when using watercolours, i use mostly only watercolours, also mostly doing very spontaneous work. i really like this piece though!!
